Craft Bakers’ Week 2015 is almost here, this year taking place from 28th September to the 3rd October. Hundreds of bakeries across the UK have already signed up – so make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to boost your business profile and celebrate craft baking!

Follow our checklist below to ensure you make the most of Craft Bakers’ Week 2015:

  • Register for Craft Bakers’ Week 2015it’s not too late! (If you haven’t done so already, you can register here
  • Decorate your bakery with the point of sale material that you will receive
  • Most Loved Bakery Competition! – Get your customers voting for you with the voting slips provided, or direct them to online voting here
  • Let us know how you will be celebrating the week so that we can help spread this for you – perhaps you will be hosting tasting events, or sampling special products? Or maybe you’re giving people a chance to Meet a Baker? Whatever you are planning to do, let us know, and we can share it on social media. During the week we may even visit your bakery to see your celebrations!
  • Contact Make-A-Wish ® UK for a collection tin – pop it on the counter and let the fundraising begin. (You can contact Lynne on a collection tin)
  • Host a fundraising event – this could be a special cake sale, guided tours around the bakery, or perhaps selling goods topped with Make-A-Wish ® UK sugar discs – we want to beat last year’s total of £20,000 raised! (You can order Make-A-Wish ® UK sugar discs by emailing
  • Deliver a basket of your favourite bread and cakes to your local radio station and newspaper in the run up to the week – Spread the word across your community!
  • Share your photos with @craftbakersweek during the week or find us on Facebook – we want to see your celebrations!
